上海光机所在探索光学记忆效应的本质及其应用方面取得进展

近期，上海光机所量子光学重点实验室与加州理工学院教授汪立宏合作，揭示了光学记忆效应本质就是空间平移不变性，从微观过程描述了不同散射成分对记忆效应的贡献。相关论文发表在［Photonics Research 7， 1323 （2019）］。

透过散射介质成像是从生物医学到大气光学广泛研究的课题，而散斑自相关成像因其简单、快速、无损等特性而备受关注。散斑自相关成像的前提是光学记忆效应，记忆效应的范围决定了成像的视场。扩大成像视场是散斑自相关成像亟待解决的问题。

该研究中，研究人员首先从光经过随机相位屏和光阑传播的对比中发现散斑平移不变性，即记忆效应实际上是高阶的空间平移不变性。进而建立双层随机相位屏模型，推导得出记忆效应范围更为准确的公式，通过空间功率谱把体散射介质和随机相位屏联系起来，定量描述了散射系数、散射次数、介质厚度、各项异性因子对记忆效应范围的影响，并从微观分析了不同散射成分的记忆效应范围。

该项研究提供了有关记忆效应的全新物理图像，并基于此图像构建了新型散射介质模型，可以模拟光在散射介质中的相干传播，为扩大散斑自相关成像视场提供了理论基础，也为透过散射介质光学成像提供了有力工具。
